Steven R. Mongno has taken a love of the American Past, a fascination with Architectural Design and combined them with his talent as a Master Carpenter and experience as a Builder. His expertise is cemented in the foundations and carved in the millwork of his timeless designs.

A native of Somerset County and devotee of its history, his designs are an extension of the architectural ambiance of the area. Whether constructing a custom new home, creating an authentic period reproduction, renovation, restoration, or building an addition to an existing residence, the result is a gracious home, individually distinctive, and unsurpassed in craftsmanship. While the design is classic, the functionality is hi-tech 21st century.

Steve has been the recipient of numerous Awards and his work featured in the media:

The Mongno Team is comprised of Steve's own experienced craftsmen. However, the on-site Project Manager on every project is Steve himself. His meticulous attention to detail and his insistence in utilizing only top quality materials are evident in every home and have served to solidify his reputation in the trade and in the public eye.
