The Process ~ How We Work

Steve approaches every project as a partnership. Just as it is important for him to understand your individuality and expectations, it is equally important for you to know the process in working with the Steven R. Mongno team.

Step 1. Meet Steve to discuss your Vision for your new home, addition to your existing home, remodeling project, or restoration. At this initial meeting we will also discuss your Budget and your Timeframe. Do you need an architect? Steve has alliances with several excellent firms.
Step 2. Receive and approve the Architect Plans and the Project Proposal.

Step 3. Obtain Planning Board Approvals and Permits. Steve will obtain or be at your side to walk you through the process.
Step 4. Receive and approve Construction Plans and Schedule.
Step 5. Meet with Design and Product Specialists to Select fixtures, features, and finishes during construction. All appointments are at your convenience.
Step 6. Final Inspection prior to completion.
Step 7. Meet with landscaper to complete Landscape Plan.
